KNGO provides free education to children and youth in the community, food to impoverished families and funding to build houses and toilets.
Since 2015 KNGO has built 78 houses and 50 toilets for the elderly and families living in dire circumstances. This has only been possible because of funding provided by Project Vietnam Inc and generous individuals. Nine of these houses were built in loving memory of the Mr. Kimith So’s friend, the late Ms. Harpreet Sidhu.
Twelve of the houses and toilets were built in 2020 with funding and support provided by KNGO Australia, Project Vietnam Inc and Eckerd University students. A team of eighteen Project Vietnam members visited KNGO in 2020 and assisted with the building of the houses and toilets.
For many years now we have provided food parcels to those desperately in need. The need has been even greater during the Covid-19 crisis, On behalf of the recipients we thank KNGO Australia, Project Vietnam Inc, Rotary Noosa Daybreak and individual donors for their generosity.
